Application of skid conveyor system:

Skid conveyor mainly use the principle of friction technology to load the work piece on the skid body, so that the skid body contacts the roller or chain, ensuring sufficient contact area and positive pressure, generating frictional power (mainly rolling friction and static friction). Makes it possible to convey work piece forward, backward, moving horizontal, lifting, accumulating and rotating.

 The skid products used in the conveying system have the characteristics of compact process layout, high extension capability, simple maintenance, easy operation and suitable for flexible production.

There are three types of skid conveyor according to load capacity: heavy-duty (>2T), light-duty (0.5T), and universal skid (0.5T<load<2T).

According to its structure and way of conveying it can be classified in overhead skid conveyor and floor skid conveyor.

The skid conveyor system is widely used in automobile manufacturing. In welding workshop it is used for work piece transportation in the main welding process, and conveying white body to coating line.

In the coating workshop of the automobile manufacturing, skid products are mainly used for drying and conveying work piece in finish painting process. Then transports the painted vehicle body to the final assembly.

Skid products are also suitable for the manufacturing and production processes of automotive components, such as bumper transportation. In addition, it also applied for projectile charge in military manufacturing industry.
